VKO Design
VKO Design was founded in October 2019. Our Design team has many years of experience in the design and reconstruction of grocery stores and retail outlets abroad and in Bulgaria.
We know the needs of each retail space and the best way to create a successful store with style. VKO Design presents solutions in the field of design, renovation and reconstruction of grocery stores and other retail outlets – from the concept, through the design phase and selection of equipment depending on the needs and objectives of the client.
We take care of all steps – from the study of the space of use to the final design and proper positioning of the equipment in your store, tailored to the budget of each of our customers. Our main goal is the correct configuration of the space, the location of furniture, the choice of equipment – to create identity, functionality and aesthetics of your store or retail outlet.

Our design team consists of specialists with an innovative approach and sense of unique design focused on functionality, comfort and aesthetics. We are a small group of young and talented architects and designers specializing in commercial design with focus on creating premises in the food industry. This allows us to create authentic interior solutions for your commercial establishment, office or store, which fully meets the needs of the customer and emphasizes the individuality of your brand. Our design is very well thought out, tailored to the specifics of the space and crafted with attention to detail so that it will be relevant in the future.

Lead
Valeriya Kotsopulu is the founder and CEO of VKO Design. Valeriya has a close to a decade of planning and design urban and rural grocery stores ranging in size.
Valeriya is an accomplished architect with strong technical and design expertise, coupled with an aptitude to coalesce with varying disciplines, including: engineers, project managers, interior designers, owners and stakeholders. Prior to founding VKO Design, she worked for a large global leading grocery retail company providing architectural services to one large well known grocery brand in the United States, Stop & Shop. Valeriya holds a Master of Architecture degree from Boston Architectural College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

Kostadina Galcheva graduated in 2016 from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia with the degree of master of Architecture. Her professional career began in 2015 as an architect in the team of a large design office for architecture. She worked with lead architects and builders. Kostadina designed and created digital models for large commercial projects on the seacoast of Bulgaria. The scale of the sites varied from small local shops, workshops and apartments, through individual residential buildings, hotels and restaurants. She also worked in a large building company where she gained experience in coordination between architects and builders in the construction process. Architect Galcheva has also designed many freelance projects, mainly in the field of interior design.

Bilyana Yoncheva
Architect
Bilyana Yoncheva is an architect with more than 6 years of experience, primarily in the field of grocery store design and residential architecture. She is creative and innovative, capable of effectively managing her own projects from start to finish. In 2016 Bilyana obtained her degree of master of architecture from VSU “Luben Karavelov” in Bulgaria. She has participated in multiple architectural competitions, from which she won several prizes and distinctions. One day design challenge by Roca and 11th isover multi- comfort house student contest Bulgaria, in both she won 2nd prize. In 2015 Bilyana won 1st prize of the Landscaping and development of the Devetashka Cave as a tourist destination competition.
